Question on Ethics. You know the answer the questioner wants, but also the true answer. What do you do & why?

stay away from the R%26amp;S forums and politics. it will just get you reportedQuestion on Ethics. You know the answer the questioner wants, but also the true answer. What do you do %26amp; why?
I do not always know the answer the questioner wants. I might suspect what it might be but I don't necessarily give him/her what they are looking for, especially if it holds no truth for me. Outright chat questions aimed at particular contacts, no matter how innocuously posed, I might answer just for fun depending on my mood. If it is a serious question then I will always give them an answer that is at least true from any experiences I've had.Question on Ethics. Selective truth. One doesn't need to blurt the ';whole'; truth, just enough to satisfy the questioner without lying. In that way, one can be true to both himself and the questioner. This is similar to a small child asking where babies come from. One can truthfully tell them that babies come from ';mommy's tummy'; without having to launch into graphic sex ed.
If the questioner does not want open opinions/advice they should not ask! Many are only looking for validation of their own beliefs, if you don't agree they are not interested. I will answer as honestly as I can, to the best of my ability, even if it ticks someone off.

I usually give a straight forward answer, whether I think that is what the questioner wants to hear or not.

But, I give my answers with compassion and facts.

I believe in being honest, no matter what.
Alawys tell the truth !! If you tel one lie , then you wil end up telling more to cover that one up .....

If the questioner did not want the opinion of others ; he or she would not have posted the question .... so ... go ahead and BE HONEST !!
Tell the true answer or answer to the best of my abbility. Why? I don't lie to people because i don't want people to lie to me!
Do what is right not what is easy, because it is the right thing to do.
I skip the entire question if I can't tell the truth...
