I heard if a certain piercing is done uncorrectly,
your ear can be droopy, and maybe deformed.
Is this for the cartiladge piercing?
like, if somethings done wrong can my ear go droopy and weird!? plz reply :) i dont want a droopy ear LOl :)
thank you =)Is it true? cartiladge piercing question..?
This is true ONLY if you go to a place like Claire's where they pierce with a gun, because it can cause the cartilage in your ear to ';shatter.';
If you go to a body piercing parlor and get it done properly with a needle, there is no risk of that happening.
As an added note, both the pics on the link above are from ';double'; piercings that require one piece of jewelry to go through two individual layers or cartilage, so the risk of deformation is obviously greater. If you're just talking about a typical cartilage piercing, the worst you are likely to get are keloids, which are small bubbles of scar tissue that can grow on piercings, but if it is well cared for and not yanked or jostled around too much, even that is unlikely. However, keloids can be taken care of with a cream available at most peircing shops.
So in short: Just don't get it done with a piercing gun, and you should be just fine. It should be done with a needle.Is it true? cartiladge piercing question..?
yes, if not done correctly and a nerve gets damaged this can happen.
lol.. umm.. i've never heard of that..
just go to a reputable shop.. one that is sterile and professional.. and make sure they use a hollow needle to pierce it, not a gun.. and you should be fine..
make sure to take care of it also.. listen to your piercer.. clean it with non-scented anti bacterial soap.. and soak it in sea salt water..
it'll be fine don't worry.. as long as you take care of it and have it done by someone who really knows what they're doing..
my ears were pierced wrong. I have one hole lower than another. The only thing it does is make one of my earring look lower than another. Im getting it fixed. It's really easy to, its no big deal if somebody messes up.
It can collapse and literally liquefy your ear. Yes, it is for any cartilage piercing. It's rare though
it doesnt only happen with guns, it can happen with needle piercings too, needles just reduce the chance of it happening.
Don't get it done with a gun and you will be fine.
