Easy true of false question?

During the winter solstice in far northern latitudes, such as the Yukon Territory, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut, the Sun does not set below the horizon due to the axis tilt of Earth.

True or false..Easy true of false question?

During winter, the sun never rises in far northern latitudes. The southern sky gets the midnight sun!
If this is such an ';easy'; question then why don't you answer it yourself?

You need to only wire to one of the voice coils on a DVC. You dont have to wire to both of them and can get the same SQ,and life of the speakers. TRUE OR FALSE if false WHY???True or false Question?

Why.........

With only one coil hooked up, a dual voice coil speaker will suffer a loss in reference efficiency of about 3dB (only half the coil windings are being energized) as well as a significant shift in its Thiele/Small parameters

As far as I know they are all rumours. I don't think he will be returning to the WWE Kurt has said that he will never work for Vince McMahon again. So that is kind of pretty clear that he won't be returning to the WWE. Then there are of course the rumours that Kurt Angle is threatening to leave TNA if Jarrett is in charge of the storylines or something like that and the rumours about Jeff Jarrett and Kurt's ex wife Karen are now an item or something. I don't know the whole thing is confusing to me, but as far as I know they are rumours. I don't think that Kurt will be returning to the WWE however.

NO. vince continually bashes kurt for switching to TNA. plus kurt will probably not leave TNA which the superstars have alot more time off than WWE. so to answer your question that is doubtful. I see him in either MMA or ROH/IWGP before WWE
His contract expires in September. Only Angle himself knows if he's going to re-sign or go to WWE.

You only know how much inventory is on hand at the end of the accounting period. This doesn't tell the boss whether he's holding insufficient or too much inventory.

Question for true pyschics/mediums/clairvoyants.鈥?I have read on answers that TRUE pyschics/mediums/clairvoyan

do not charge or should not charge for their help. Why is that? Is there some sort of unwritten rule? Sylvia Brown and other mediums/phsychics make alot of money - does that make them less of a medium or physchic? What is wrong with charging for their services since they are helping people?Question for true pyschics/mediums/clairvoyants.鈥?I have read on answers that TRUE pyschics/mediums/clairvoyan
    Dearest Vero,

Many of the psychics make their living in their craft and therefore they must charge for their services or they would be homeless and starving.

Most psychics devote their lives to exercising their gift for the benefit of others. In doing so they must have some way of caring for themselves and their families.

Just because they charge doesn't mean they aren't real... it means they'd like to eat.

Always exercise a bit of caution when dealing with psychics. Take the recommendations of friends and family. If you don't have anyone else to refer from then ask psychics for references or clients you might speak to in order to get a feel for their genuine nature. Of course if you are buying psychic readings from ebay read the feedback.

Those who say psychics who charge money aren't real are just looking for something for nothing.

I think charging would be for their time, however a reasonable amount. Paying $500 for 30 mins of a service is just unreasonable.

I don't think it's wrong however to charge for the time. After all physiologist charge for their time. Allot of professions charge hourly.
To me it would be much like helping an old lady with her groceries and waiting around for the tip, but that is just me.
It is alright to charge a reasonable amount but when a lot of money is charged, then it makes help only available to the rich and that is not right. For example, charging $25 for a session is reasonable. Charging $1000, as Sylvia Browne does is not right. True psychics have to live but they don't need mansions and big cars.
    Hi Vero,

many psychics do NOT charge for their services and are happy to help, and do so every week at spiritualist churches throughout the world.

They do this totally free and look at this free service as an opportunity to practice the gift they have been given.

Some people, even in the spiritualist network charge the individual churches they are asked to visit so that the fuel costs, etc. do not become a financial burden. Many people, like me, are 'healers', too. and we offer our gifts to others totally free of charge. It is a gift, after all, and I feel no need to attempt to prise money out of the people who need help.

However there are many people who do all these things and charge a fee for doing it. This letter is not to say that they are wrong, nor that they are greedy. It also doesn't, necessarily, mean they are better than the 'free' practitioners.

Some of these people have exceptional gifts and are very effective. Some, it has to be said, merely pay lip service to the 'craft' and will ALWAYS give an answer of some kind when reading. In my experience I lose my admiration of psychics when they start saying 'I give you a flower', or a colour, just so they can say SOMETHING while giving the reading.

While I am doing it I often 'feel' an answer very strongly and if I do I will reveal that to the person I am 'reading', but often I get NO reaction and say that too.

Some of the professional readers are more or less forced to ALWAYS reveal something, as they have taken money for providing the service and feel they need to pass something on. Some of the 'cheats', too, are very skilled at 'reading and interpreting thoughts revealed through clever questioning from their customers.

If you wish to experience the psychic power, as it refers to you, I suggest you find a spiritualist church, you will be welcomed, you'll meet like minded people, you may experience startling readings and it will all be free. (Some chuches do ask for a collection plate to be passed round to help cover their expenses, premises, etc.)

Hope you find what you are looking for.

Isn't this just like going to school for a specific career? Criminal psychologist and consultants get paid - why not psychics?!
she's probably fake, so it wouldnt matter to her... plus they need to make money some how
I don't think it is wrong to charge. They have to make a living. As long as the medium is upfront about what they charge and the client knows before hand and they still decide to go ahead with the reading then I see no problem with it.If a person is a popular psychic like Sylvia Browne or John Edwards then they don't have time to have a regular job and still help all the people they help. They have to have money to live on.It is nice when people do it for free but I think after a person gets a huge client base then they would probably have to quit a regular job and do readings for money. Some psychics are so popular it would be hard for them to have a regular job since they are so well know and people would be coming up to them all day with questions.
ACCORDING TO THE BASICS OF THESE GIFTS YOU ARE NOT TO CHARGE FOR THEM NOR USE THEM FOR YOURSELF AS IN GAMBLING,ETC. YOU MAY NOT HAVE ANY TROUBLE NOW BE IT IS KARMA AND IT WILL COME.
Sylvia is able to write books. The major portion of her money comes from her writing.

When it comes to psychics, people must be careful of who they go to.

There are scammers and frauds in the world that will do anything for easy money which they have no remorse conning out of gullible unfortunates already down on their luck.

You must be able to recognize the difference between a genuine psychic and a fake.

There are proven genuine established psychics and those are the ones that are becoming well known. They are the ones that have been tested and proven. They are the ones who will have alot of genuine references that will be easy enough for you to check out. And you should always check these out for yourself.

If you go to a person, who claims to be a psychic and they are insisting on you paying them hundreds and/or thousands of dollars up front. Buyer beware!

If you go to a psychic and they read you first and don't ask you for money and the reading sounds authentic to you and tells you things that only you would know. Then give them a tip for their time and their service!
I'm really glad someone posted a topic on this.

I wrestle with this problem all the time.

I've been studying astrology for 7 years, and all my friends tell me I should be charging.

    It just feels wrong though.

I have to say, however, that it is actual work to read a chart, both on the scientific and psychic side.

When the psychic stuff starts happening it ends up draining me. I can only do so much ';reading'; before I get too exhausted.

Does that justify me charging? Does the intellectual property I have amassed in 7 years of study justify me charging? I just don't know.

I started out just studying my own chart, and before too long people had me looking at theirs. I ended up realizing that I could help people clear blockages in their psyche/spirit.

Helping someone in that way always feels ten times better than getting paid.

    :)~TRUE OR FALSE question?
    False..

You must always accept responsibility for your feelings because as a creature of reason you can either accept or reject the validity of the feelings expressed by others.

Example, someone can attempt to make you feel guilty about something, but you have a choice to accept it or reject it.
False. Feeling are partly due to a combination of our interactions and interpretations of our encounters in the world. We can not completely hold another responsible for how we perceive the world. If we don't accept responsibility for our feelings, we risk giving up control over our own lives leading to eternal victimhood.
    FALSE

You choose and you decide how you react to a certain situation. People can do something or say something which you think makes you feel a certain way but you have chosen to make yourself feel like that. If you really wanted to you could have gone away and said wow thats great, i feel fine. Instead of having a negative approach. So what they do and how they act is up to them but it is YOUR choice to decide how you want to take that and how you want to feel about it.
I would say you should accept responsibility for your feelings, for example, if someone says to you they dont like you, then you have the option to decide wether your going to let it bother you, (1) oh no they dont like me. (2) screw them, they're an a**hole. so you can control how YOU feel.
Doesn't make much sense but i'll say false. Because whatever arguments you make, they're still YOUR feelings and if you don't take responsibility, no one else will care how you feel.
I say true. The responsibility lies in your reactions rather than your feelings. To an extent nobody can fault you on what you feel.

    FALSE.
    False
    True
In the middle cuz people make you feel bad but idk... True i guess
    True
I suppose you get mad, too, when the sun comes up and you're not ready.
It depends on wther it really was someone else that caused it.. or if you're just being a cry-baby

    True.
True.Arrhenius defined bases as substances that dissolve in water to release hydroxide ions (OH-) into solution. For example, a typical base according to the Arrhenius definition is sodium hydroxide (NaOH):

    NaOH ~ Na+(aq) + OH-(aq)

This is a true and false question. A segment has exactly one bisector?

TRUE since bisector means two equal parts .

If you are arguing with your sibling about which half of the pizza you want then the pizza is not bisectedThis is a true and false question. A segment has exactly one bisector?
yes and no, it depends on what geometry you are doing, in modern geometry, lines can curve, creating an infinite number of bisectors,

In Euclidean geometry, which I think you are studying, there is only one. Because they are straight lines.

I think this was Euclids 9th lawThis is a true and false question. A segment has exactly one bisector?
false. a segment has exactly one perpendicular bisector. any line crossing through the point in the middle would be a bisector.

  • A question for true gamers?

What are some games that, regardless of age, must be played under any circumstance before you call yourself a gamer?A question for true gamers?
Basically, you need to play an RPG, MMORPG, FPS, Fighting, and a racing game to really be called a gamer, in my view. I've selected a few games for different consoles. Pretty much, you need to start off with the older stuff, and then go into stuff made in the late 1990s and early 2000s, then get into nowadays games.

    BEFORE THE LATE 1990S

    Super Mario Bros

    - Super Nintendo Electronic System

    Donkey Kong 64

    - Nintendo 64

    Super Smash Bros

    - Nintendo 64

    LATE 1990S AND EARLY 2000S

    Halo : Combat Evolved

    - Xbox

    RuneScape

    Super Smash Bros Melee

    - GameCube

    GunZ Online

    Pokemon (any version)

    - Nintendo Handhelds

    Forza Motorsport

    - Xbox

    Fable

    - Xbox

Need For Speed : Underground 2

    - GameCube

    EARLY TO LATE 2000S

    Halo 2

    - Xbox

    Eragon

    - Nintendo DS

    Gears of War

    - Xbox 360

    Turok

    - Xbox 360

    Halo 3

    - Xbox 360

As you can see, I am not a PlayStation or Call of Duty fan of any sort. Nintendo and Microsoft are my publishers, sorry.

After playing at least one game from each section, you can call yourself a real gamer.

Just so you know, these are my OPINIONS, these are NOT games that must be played to be considered a gamer. Really, all you have to do is play one very popular game, and know it very well.

TOKIOPOP MAKES A VERY GOOD STATEMENT.

...lol??? You don't have to play Pong! Games from back in the 80's when games hurt our eyes are not something you have to play to be a gamer! Games like Pac Man, Tetris, Tank, Pong, they all suck!

Start off with like in the middle 1990s with Pokemon, Donkey Kong, Mario, and possible Final Fantasy. Then jump into Halo!

You just experience in gaming every sort of video game, other than crappy back in the day ones.

    Great Gaming,

    K E R T ZA question for true gamers?
    Haha, yeah.

    1. Super Mario Brothers - THE ORIGINAL. Possibly the greatest game ever made.

    2. Any [old] Sonic: The Hedgehog game, for the Sega. The new ones suuuck.

    3. Halo. Come on, the Halo series is probably the widest know franchise in the gaming world, and I say that due to the fact that Mario and Sonic never made a [good] next-gen game. And other than CoD4, whose heard of Call of Duty?

    4. Call of Duty 1-4. What can you say? All amazing games, even the first one.

    5. NFL QB Club. For the Sega Genisis, actually had a drills challenge, which made it very advanced for a '96 game. And the gameplay was actually very fun, despite poor graphics.
    I would try

    Legends of Zelda: Twilight Princess

    Super Smash Bros. Brawl

    God of War 1%26amp;2

    Metal Gear Solid 1, 2, and 3

    Kingdom Hearts 1%26amp;2

    Jak 1, 2, and 3

    Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves

    Resident Evil 1,2, 3, and especially 4

    Halo 1, 2, and 3

    Pokemon Diamond and Pearl

Zack %26amp; Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure

    for some older games

    Super mario world

Super mario RPG legend of the seven stars

    Final Fantasy 7%26amp;8

Donkey Kong Country and Donkey kong 64

Legends of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask

    Star Fox 64

    Doom
for fps it's doom... oh wait.. gotta go back a ways.... one must start off with the grandpappy of the fps. that would be wolfenstein. then blake stone.. skip to doom then while you're at it to rott. then you can move on up to duke nukem.

that's a good start for the fps. but you must have the machines for it... the patches and the GL versions lose something in the process.

if you get a win 95 machine.. a 98 machine then a 2000 machine... put them up on your intranet.... get the games... then you're on your way to being a uber gamer.

i only enjoy fps on the network it's great blood shed. also speaking of.. don't forget to add blood to your gaming experience. (from the duke nukem folks 3d realms)
These aren't 'some games' as such but what should be played.

    3 FPS's

    2 open world games.

    10 ps2/Xbox games

    1 MMORPG(runescape included!)

    POKEMON!

To have gone to a midnight launch of a game WITH the game prebooked for at least 2 weeks!

    3 360/ps3 games

I feel this is reasonable as having a list of 15-20 games would be for a HARDCORE gamer, not a gamer in general!
its about diving into different levels of ';interactive media'; for example, some are saying that gamers don't just chat online, they chat in avatar form in interactive rooms.... (IMVU) http://nevacross.com/?utm_source=cdg%26amp;utm鈥?/a>

and they don't just play video games, they change the code and create an entirely different game out of them.
Play all these games, finish them with no cheats.

    Question for true reloaders?

does any body have experiance with the

    RCBS chargemaster1500 or

    lyman dps1200

Thinking of buying oneQuestion for true reloaders?
With all the help I've had from friends, I never had much use for progressive reloading gear.

Both RCBS %26amp; Lyman build exellent tools, with a slight edge to RCBS.

The only somewhat negative remark I have for 'progressives' is that they are STRICTLY for EXPERIENCED reloaders ONLY!Question for true reloaders?
I do not have any experience with the listed powder systems you listed. I do have experience with a Lyman Spartan T turret press and a pair of Dillon Square Deals.

I shoot a lot of pistol (.40S%26amp;W and .45ACP) and decided to go progressive for the sheer convenience and shorter time spent playing with the ammo. I do enjoy reloading, but with a full college schedule, two kids, a pair of large dogs, a fat cat, and a wife that works nights, I have to get some sleep sometime!

I know it was not your question, but maybe you should consider a progressive based on the amount of ammo you load. I have found the Dillon throwers good to about .10 accuracy once you exercise them a bit. For rifle cartridges (in most cases) this isn't going to hurt or affect anything.

I used to do handgun loads by hand, but geez, that started taking forever. You know damn well you can shoot them a lot faster than you can load them, and since it was going to save me what the press cost in ammo expense, I just said the hell with it, I'm getting a progressive press. (Somehow I now have two...)

The turret is stashed under the bench as a backup and someday when I get time to set up for .223 I will start loading with the turret, until I break down and buy another progressive.
First off I am a big fan of both RCBS and Lyman.

BUT I would go with the Lyman 1200 with out hesitating.

It is far more user friendly and not as finicky as the RCBS.

Note nether RCBS or Lyman make their own scales, they just pay to have them built with their names on them.

I have tried 2 different RCBS digital scales, and returned both of them because I was not happy with there performance.

I switched to the Lyman digital scales and have been very satisfied.

I am going to give you a link to a place that “usually” has the better prices on reloading equipment.

    http://www.natchezss.com/

But I am curious have you looked at or tried any of these items.

I just had to try them, and was very impressed with just how well they work.

99% of all my dies are RCBS or Lyman.

But I had to add these Collet Dies to my list in 223, 25-06, 308 and 30-06.

    http://www.leeprecision.com/cgi/catalog/…

Another one that is a class act if you need to crimp any ammo.

Factory Crimp Die I also added to my collection in 223, 25-06, 30-30, 308 and 30-06.

    http://www.leeprecision.com/cgi/catalog/…

Some powders work better with a crimp, and this die makes the best crimp in the market.

Make sure you get the AC power plug with what ever model you get.

The digital scales eat battery’s like you wont believe.

( I know both models you chose do have the AC power plug I’m just saying if you change your mind and down size some, don’t get the battery only, my first one I got in 2001 was battery only and it ate a 9 vote battery every hour on the hour.)

    D58

Hunting with Rifle, Pistol, Muzzle loader and Bow for over 3 decades.

Reloading Rifle, Pistol and shotgun for over 3 decades.
I havent used either of those 2 presses. I do use a Lyman T-Mag press. I know they are really expensive but You might want to check out Dillon Presses for loading the quanity You load.
I HAVE USED BOTH AND I HAVE TO SAY RCBS BY FAR MAKES MORE, BETTER, AND EASIER PARTS TO USE PLUS THEIR TECH HELP AND PARTS SERVICE IS WAY BETTER THAN LYMAN AND EVERYBODY ELSE I HAVE TALKED WITH

    (Question Below) True or False?

A bank tells a real estate agent that average closing costs on the sale of a home are $6500. The agent thinks that this is too low an estimate so she randomly selects 20 recent home sales and finds that the average closing costs are $6550 with a sample standard deviation of $120 and that the closing costs appear to be normally distributed.

The null hypothesis would be rejected at the 伪 = 0.05 level..

    True

    False(Question Below) True or False?
    Given the following data:

    渭o = 6500

    n = 20

    X-bar = 6550

    s = 120

    伪 = 0.05

    The hypotheses are:

    Ho: 渭 = 6500

    H1: 渭 %26gt; 6500

The population variance is unknown and the sample size small. Therefore the appropriate test statistic is the t-test:

    T = (X-bar - 渭o) / s/鈭歯

    T = (6550 - 6500) / 120/鈭?0

    T = 1.863

The critical t-value corresponding to 伪 = 0.05 and (n-1) degrees of freedom is 1.729.

Since the test statistic exceeds the critical t-value, we reject the null hypothesis.(Question Below) True or False?
Do you know what the null hypothesis is? What DO you know about this problem. don't just ask the question - you won't leran anything from that.

If any of you know what it has on it PLEASE tell me or give me the link to the website you got it from! Thanks!♥Question for TRUE Jonas Brothers fans ONLY!♥?
According to Justjared it's a ring from Tiffany's.

    Here:

Kevin, at 20, is the oldest of the three, and while a punk-rock purity ring from Tiffany might represent the ultimate oxymoron, that’s exactly what he’s going for. His silver vow of abstinence is covered with studs. ‘It’s pretty rock and roll,’ Kevin says. ‘It’s getting banged up a little bit because of the guitar.’”

noone, is , its a serious drama.

    Question about true love?

Theoretically, if true love overlooks physical appearance and only values personality then gay love could be considered true because if we take away the bodies of men and women, what is left is of moral content which cannot be judged objectively as it is a matter of personal taste. I could further develop and exemplify this idea but i think my question is clear enough. So, is homosexual love the true expression of pure love and heterosexual a mere rudiment of animal origin of more physical nature than of moral?

P.S i'm not trying to support gay relationships, just find out peoples opinionQuestion about true love?
    ...true love has no labels...

...morality is society thus homosexual love is frowned upon and heterosexual love encouraged and justified...Question about true love?
What is love then? You seem to be defining homosexual relationships the same way as most of us define friendship. Physical intimacy, always present in homosexual and heterosexual love relationships, comes from animal instincts. The reproductive instinct, specifically.

Physical desires for the act of penetration has nothing to do with psychological relationships. Only physical characteristics (appearance) matters. It is indeed true that most people would not engage in sexual activities with someone with whom they have no psychological relationships, but that is simply because sexual acts, most of the time, imply psychological intimacy as well in our particular sociocultural setting.
Your assertion is invalid. I am sorry, but I as well as so many others can see behind your question...the last sentence of your question doesn't fool me. Anyways, your argument is invalid because there is no ';definition'; of true love. What are we but a population that continues to evolve. So what if still have some of ';rudiment of animal origin';. Don't give me some bs about homosexual love not having lust in it. It seems to be no different from heterosexual love... why else would there be millions of gay pornography sites on the internet.
Based on your theoretical definition of true love, heterosexual love also has an equal chance of being true. Assuming heterosexuals didn't love because of looks but personality, then homosexual love isn't the only true love available.
';Love'; is just another way to describe your primitive need for satisfaction/happiness.

Yes and No... for a question for a twelve year old, then the answer is most probably yes... but there is radiation from external sources, other than sunlight. There are also random decomposition of particles which effect the energy of a substance, as well as many other things. But for a 12 year old's school question, the answer is probably yes.Hey u guys....I asking a True or False question.....Dose Energy enter all ecosystems as sunlight? plz im 12?
    look it up...

but without sunlight, nothing would be able to survive for long, including animals, plants, bacteria etc. because somewhere, everything consumes something else that converts sun into energy...
That is a yes i'm a freshman in high school and that's what they are telling us so that is a yes for sure.

Is it true, when you question whether you love someone...?

is it true that it mustnt be true love if you have to question it?

I saw something in my sisters room about her fiance, she had written down questions like '; Do i really love him?'; ';Do i want him in my life forever?'; and all sorts of questions like this. So what do you think? does she really love him or is she settling for him?Is it true, when you question whether you love someone...?
She has probably got wedding jitters. Be there for her if she needs to talk about it, but don't judge or tell her what to do. Whatever she does now affects her fiance as well.Is it true, when you question whether you love someone...?
she is still making up her mind

such notice are to keep her remind of that problem

she is trying to give utmost time value to these questions

by the way why are you so keen to know? i am sorry for being rude but this is important to know
it's ok to have doubts, when your marriage is approaching, and better think it over now then later. you mustn't marry someone just because you love him, she is thinking it over, whether he is or isn't the partner for her, and most of this problem has to be treated separately from love. passionate love goes away in a few years, but the respect for each other, the ability to help each other remains, and this is important in marriage. If your sister is thinking about these things, it doesn't mean she doesn't love him enough. there is no perfect man, she could be afraid of marrying someone, who is not the best for her, but these things you can't know for sure, even if you are deeply in love, you have doubts, because you see the guys mistakes, and you are wondering if you can deal with that for your entire life. my advise to you is to stay still, and see what develops, and definitely don't talk to your sister, if you see, that this hesitation continues for a long time, or she asks for your advise, than approach her, but let her decide what she wants. if your sister is a rational person, she needs to think things over, let her do that. it is a big decision, and no big decision is easy, you have to think about it. there is no perfect relationship, you can only choose the best one, she is thinking whether this is the best one.
You don't say how soon the wedding is? Maybe she's just making sure that she is doing the right thing. Why don't you ask her how she's feeling instead of snooping around her room? She might appreciate the chat
I'm sure she really loves him. As the day comes closer to making that commitment, a lot of people get scared. These are probably just questions she wants to ask herself just to make sure she is making the right decision.

Think about it, it's better she ask herself these before getting married than being in a marriage and having to get divorced.

My friend is engaged and says she is in no rush to get married at all. And that's she's scared because she has to spend the rest of her life with her fiance. That is when you should be worried they don't love someone.
In the past I would have said that you do have to question whether you love someone. I was in a relationship like that, but since then I have left him and met someone else. I now know true love and don't have to question it; I love him and that is all there is to it.
why it has to be true love? true respect is more important and ability to live together politely and happily. Most of the couples are not in love but they manage to be happy most of the time.
Why don't you chat with her and find out..

    -True

-False (great hostility, not acceptance)True or False science question?
Hi Gina , That statement is FALSE,..The scientific community, of today, is no more ';open';, to new ideas, than were the ';flat Earthers'; of bygone days. Indeed , certain, areas of ligitimate research, are considered to be ';out of bounds';, even for discussion,.Some areas that may NOT, be researched are,..UFOs,.Para-psychology,..Extra-sens鈥?perception,..The possible existance of God,..Life after death,..%26amp; Mind over matter,..The resistance, of the scientific community to exploreing these areas, is based on the principal, that, ';Any nail that is sticking up,..will get hammered down,.';.Most of what passes for ';science'; today, is nothig more than glorified technology,..

    Question Below: True or False?

A car company claims that the average price of their new car is less than $11,500 with a standard deviation of $1500.

  • Do you ever question the true nature of reality? ?

YES! I used to do a lot of recreational... things. And it got me thinking- reality is what you make of it. If we all walked around high, I think that would be a different kind of reality. Who's to say one reality is real and one is not? I'm sure there are many different realities out there. I'm sure everyone has their own idea of reality, and we're just trying to exist in the one most similar to everyone else's based on rules set aside by the vast majority of the population. Culture is a good example of that. That also leads to the argument that there is no ';Normal';.Do you ever question the true nature of reality? ?
well everyone's definition of the word ';reality'; is different. so its hard to answer that. and to ';question'; it mean? to doubt? or to deny (if deny, deny what?).

As for me, Reality is plain and simple. your cannot stop ur breathing, ur heart beat, and u cannot stop ur cells in ur body vibrating, those are the nature of reality. if u are able stop those process (breath %26amp; heart beat) and still have the ability to think, then u have defy reality, Therefore able to ';question'; it.

I am not saying its imposible to deny or question reality, but for most human, it is imposible.

    Or do u mean in the context of ';humans live to multiply'; definition of ';nature of reality';

questions too vague, hard to answer.

    Cheers

    True or false polynomial question?

True or false the polynomial x^2+x-20 is entirely negative on the interval (-5,4)?True or false polynomial question?
    falseTrue or false polynomial question?
    True

since -5 and 4 are not included (I'm assuming the round brackets mean that it's an open interval), for anyvalue you put, you'll get a negative value
True. It has zeroes at -5 and 4, and is negative between them.
    True !!!

    x虏+x-20 = (x+5)(x-4) and the first factor x+5 is %26gt;= 0 if x%26gt;=-5, and the second factor x-4 is %26lt;= 0 if x%26lt;=4, so for -5%26gt;x%26gt;4, we have positive * negative = negative !
    True....
Evaluate x^2+x-20 from -5 to 4 in steps of 1. You can verify that for yourself.
    false
If you put x =4 you get 4*4 + 4 - 20 = 16+4-20 =20-20 = 0, so it's not negative there. But if 4 is not included in the interval and -5 either (the solution is also 0 for -5) that would be correct.

Question to Youth (and Adults) - Is it true that classic movies are selling out and getting a lot of money ?

Heard that classic movies from the 1900's until the 1960's and those GOOD movies in the 1970's until now ( 2010 ) are selling out =)

I'm glad that those horrible modern movies are becoming irrelevant

    Crash , explosions , cussing and '' sex , sex , sex ''

Fake love ( not true love ) over and over again ... cliche and too '' modern '' sometimes

Any other good modern movies and classic movies fans here ? =)Question to Youth (and Adults) - Is it true that classic movies are selling out and getting a lot of money ?
I really like the ';less is more'; attitude of a lot of classic films. They had limited special effects so they avoided shooting it - which made it more intense because you used you imagination - which is way more realistic than any special effect.

Plus because cinema was still [relatively] new back then everyone seemed to be trying something new and almost every movie had some kind of innovation that progressed the medium.

I love old film noirs, The Third Man is possibly my favourite, I love the constantly angled shot set ups and the glistening streets.

These days mainstream films have settled into a rather dull and rapidly stagnating rut - they're all the same. Broad brush strokes, one dimensional characters and big explosions. I'm sure there are still good directors experimenting with their art and making good films - but the mainstream players won't give them the exposure they deserve - all because of the money. They claim that ';intelligent'; films won't sell - completely missing the point that it is possible for an ';intelligent'; film to also be entertaining.

For a while it was an artform, then it was a profitable artform and now it's just a business.Question to Youth (and Adults) - Is it true that classic movies are selling out and getting a lot of money ?
i really like horror , i do like some classic a lot of the modern comedy movies drama movies all it is is sex, thats part of the reason i started to watch action and horror they have the nude stuff thats not too bad , the men running around in the comedys and drama is just stupid they ruin a good movie with stupid crap one of my fave classic movies is old yeller .

Question of today do you think a true renaissance person can exist today?

explain your answerQuestion of today do you think a true renaissance person can exist today?
Exist, yes. Live a fulfilling life, not a chance. Too many people with their heads lodged in their rears. A renaissance man would have murder charges by day two.Question of today do you think a true renaissance person can exist today?
Well, if we're taking 'Renaissance Person' as being someone with wide interests, skilled in both the arts and the sciences, and with achievements in a number of fields - Yes.

It's probably a lot tougher for someone today as compared to during the Renaissance, mostly because of the vast breadth of knowledge available in many fields. Think of something like Physics or Geography as it was in 1600, and compare that to what they now encompass.

Human minds have only a finite capacity, and I suspect there are few who have the intellectual capability and the rigorous discipline needed to master several subjects.

There are also a great many modern distractions - TV, the Internet, the media, and the ruthless pace of day to day life in the industrialised world. All of these make it harder to find the time to cultivate knowledge and skills, and to avoid being distracted from that purpose.

In short, if you have someone with great self discipline, a strong and agile mind, and a strong sense of purpose, they might come close to the renaissance ideal of Homo Universalis, but such people will always be the exceptional few.
    Maybe.

A renaissance person must know every form of art, literature,be well versed in all types of music, and basically just have an incredible amount of knowledge about the world as possible. The thing is,there are so many cultures today that i think to be a renaissance person, you would have to study tediously to know so much.Back in the renaissance time, people were spreading ideas and became renaissance people in their own continent but now the definition of renaissance person must be rewritten to accomodate other continents since we're no longer isolated to one place

    Math True Or False Question?

The sum of the all the angles in a regular polygon are always 360 degrees.

IS THAT TRUE?Math True Or False Question?
    Hi,

    That statement is false.

An equilateral triangle is a regular polygon with only 180 degrees.

A square is a regular polygon that does have 360 degrees.

A regular pentagon has 540 degrees.

The sum of the angles in a regular polygon with ';n'; sides is 180(n - 2) degrees, so as ';n'; increases, the sum of the angles will continue to increase as well.

However, if you look at the sum of the exterior angles for a regular polygon (or any other convex polygon) where you look at one exterior angle at each vertex, then the sum of the exterior angles is always 360 degrees, regardless of the number of sides.

n . name of regular polygon . interior angle . exterior angle . sum of exterior angles (n x exterior)

Question about live plants, is this true?

    Just wondering...

Is it the more you give the plant food (fish waste.. etc), the more it gives off oxygen?

Also, is it possible, I had an idea of taking java moss and sticking it to the sides and back walls of the tank, Is that possible?

If so, how do I do it?

Like making a jungle or something. LoL :D

ThanksQuestion about live plants, is this true?
    Hey.

The amount of oxygen produced is directly related to the size of the plant.

Also, here is a link for your java moss wall.

I looks very cool, good Idea.

    http://www.aquamoss.net/How%20to%20creat鈥?/a>

Edit: Yes the person below is more correct!

I should have been more clear when commenting on the size, bigger size more leaves.Question about live plants, is this true?
haha, the other person is right, the amount of oxygen given off does depend on the size of the plant, but it is more like how many leaves the plant has. When producing oxygen, the plant gives it off on the underside of the leaf, and takes in CO2 on the top of the leaf. I learned about this in class a couple of years ago when I was learning about photosynthisis.

I dont pray for things . and i dont pray for healing . i dont pray for wisdom . those things we all ready have . so what i do pray for is sight . i pray for all to see clearly what is not right in front of them . i pray that anyone that is low . will see what greatness there is in being lowly . we are made to suffer . not by choice . but this is what we are made to do . but not all . and to those that dont know what it is to suffer . what prayers are they in need of other than to suffer. and that wouldnt be right . and i have seen this come true in many ways . those closest to me for starters . and even in the casual crossing . i have even seen it on here .
Most if not all of my prayers have been answered by God. I have a very strong faith in him. I am what God has made me today.Pray when you go to bed in the evening and give thanks for your blessings for the day. Give thanks also upon waking up in the morning. He has kept you safe from any injury while asleep and a well needed rest too.
Most of the time they do but God does whats best for you ex: if you pray for a machine gun you probably wont get it because its wrong to kill and you might commit suicide
sometimes they come through sometimes they don't.
I usually pray to keep my anxiety level down, it seems to work, I'm always so calm even in really bad situations.

True or False question....explain why? 10 points for best answer!?

The molecular formula for a compound is the formula with the smallest whole-number mole ratio of the elements?True or False question....explain why? 10 points for best answer!?
    False.

That's the empirical formula. The molecular formula shows you the actual ratio of the elements, the empirical formula shows you the smallest whole number ratio of the elements.

For example the molecular formula of ethane is C2H6 but the empirical formula is CH3True or False question....explain why? 10 points for best answer!?
Sounds reasonable. Consider sulfuric acid, H2SO4: two moles of atomic hydrogen, one mole of sulfur, and four moles of atomic oxygen make one mole of acid.
Johnny D is correct. Just thought I'd throw my two cents in since someone else thought that this statement seemed true.

It is false, the statement is describing the empirical formula, not the molecular formula.
    false

True or false? question is in details?

Descartes believes that we can find ourselves through contemplation and reflection.True or false? question is in details?
Another point of validity Descartes made was based upon the distinction of ';clarity and distinctness'; - hence through contemplation and reflection you could get a clearer and distinct grasp of what you are - this validation was key to understanding his clear and distinct foundation of self as a ';thinking being'; - therefore I am - the basic premise.True or false? question is in details?
Maybe but the souls yearns for contact and a higher being... we shouldn't seek ourselves by means of ourselves as mortals, but through who our designer created us to be....thus maybe prayer with reflection on Gods answers
False. Stick to Cartesian Mathematics. Contemporary empiricists, though also amiss, present more reasonable arguments.
Descartes said a lot of stuff that was frankly mad.

If the soul and body are seperate but joined then the soul must be physical.

He never questioned his memory either.

And in COGITO ERGO SUM he assumed he was the thinker. Not necessarily true.

If I gave bob a keyring 'cause I didn't like it and it was your b-day and he proceeded to give the keyring to you, You'd assume bob gave it as a gift whereas really it was me.

    I explained it badly. Sorry.
True. How else could we know ourselves? If you don't stop and think about who you are, you can't know who you are.

  • A question on true love?

    define true love.

Please dont say you will know... etc... i want to get peoples perceptions on this for writing purposesA question on true love?
True love is when you love someone more than yourself and ready to do anything for them. True love is when you find yourself thinking of that person always, caring for him/her. True love happens when the partners love, respect and trust each other.

True love happens when you find peace, love and care in the arms of somebody, when your heart beats a million when you see that person, when you want to be in that person's caring hands and wants to lean on his/her shoulders. It is when you see his/her smiling face and forget all the worries and smile with him/her. You don't just care about anything else, all you want is to be with him/her. You would feel a deeper connection; like that you are with him/her for, like ages! It feels great

It happens in real life, when two sincere %26amp; honest people love each other. But in today's selfish world, it's hard to find true love, it may turn to a fictional thing in the future.A question on true love?
Here is something that I've been thinking about lately that may help you. I used to believe in soulmates, that there is ONE person out there that you need to find that you are completely compatible with, and when you find that person it will be heaven. I don't believe that anymore, it was very immature and naive of me to think that.

However, I do believe that there are those out there that are more compatible to be with eachother than others, and once two of these ppl get together, its up to them to keep on building on the relationship to turn it into something beautiful based on trust and companionship. Soulmates are thus made, and not found.

Same thing with True love - it is something that you and your partner continuously work upon, and years down the line, after the honeymoon stage of the relationship is gone, after both of you get over the whole power struggle, where companionship and commitment to one another becomes second nature, and both of you start to work together in synergy, rather than talk about compromise.... You have then created true love, even if you are 90 years old.
I don't believe in 'true love', or that there is only one person out there for you and you will instantly know that they are the one for you when you meet them.

I believe that there are hundreds of people out there with whom you are compatible enough to be in a reltationship, and the mere notion that there is 'the one' repulses me. it's so romanticized, but love isn't that special or uncommon.

I do believe in love. I believe that two people can love each other very much, but there is always going to be another person out there besides the one that you are with that has enough in common with you, and that has enough of the qualities that you find attractive, that you could potentially love as well.

I think that a lot of people fall victim to believing in the fictionalized and ostentatious love that is presented in novels and in movies. These people don't realize that this stuff is made up, that it is fiction.
    ';Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. ';

    -1 Corinthians 13

    ENOUGH SAID.

    : )
Love is the greatest gift God ever gave man. Love is not wanting to go anywhere without her. Love is not caring what other people think about the two of you. Love is when you feel depressed and sickly when you're not with her. You feel like your life has no meaning or purpose without her. And that if she wasn't holding your hand you would float away to heaven from where she came. Love is caring for her physically and emotionally. It's telling her everyday, anytime, anywhere, anyhow, for no just reason that you love her. Love is telling her u want to spend the rest of your life with her. Love is wanting to marry her even tho ya'll haven't been dating that long. That you would do anything and everything for her. It's the feeling that you would give up everything just to see her smile or look into her beautiful eyes or hear her soft, soothing voice. Love is pure happiness. Love is the feeling you get when all you have to do is think of her and it brings a smile to your face and a yourning to your heart. Love is not being able to think about nething but her. Love is having the sweetest dreams about her and waking up with a smile on ur face. Love is an overwelming feeling of pure bliss when the 2 of u kiss. Love is wanting to hold her in ur arms till the end of time. Love is wishing ur time with her never ends, that your lips would be locked together forever, that she'd be in ur arms till the end of time, that u could cuddle with her for all of eternity. Love is being helplessy and deeply in love with her and knowing your love for her and your feelings for her will never change/end..
love is amazing, it can make you cry, it can make you laugh, it can make you mad, and it can make you unbelievably happy. when you find the person that you truly love everything just clicks. you feel as if you had been looking for that person your entire life. nothing else matters when your with this person. it could be snowing in January and you wouldn't even notice cause when your with them the world kinda disappears and its just you and that person.
True love is undefinable. How can you describe A feeling of absolute joy and contentment. When your heart pounds at the mear sound of someones voice over the phone. The fealing of being lost with out them. The force that makes you think about them every second of every day. Knowing that the first thing you think of in the morning and the last thing you think of at night is the one you love. The elation one feals at first sight. Love can not be spoken or written, it must be felt. The worst part is, is when you loose it. You know you are in love when it consumes you. The thought of them in someone elses arms. Love is a wonderful thing. The most powerful of emotions. We greive because we love. Think about how many time you have been depressed. Love can be expressed at different levels. In the end it is all love. There are two ends of the spectrom. Love on one end, and hate on the other. We as humans have made words for the diferant levels of love. The word like comes to mind. However, when you do find true love. You will wish you could take them within your heart. Wrap your soul around them. Protect them. You wouldn't hesetate to give your life for them. You see love is compelling. inescapable. We all love. I do not think you could live with out love. Think about it. We all love differently. Some more passionet than others. I can't say when you will find love. That is an expierience you must have yourself. Every love is different. Not one is the same. Just like us. We love because we have to. We are social animals.Compassion is another form of love. When you care, that is love. The greatest act of love is when you spend time with someone when you don't have the time to spend. We all have time. It just depends on what you do with it.Oh, and money is not love. It's just A tool
TRUE LOVE is an undefined word, It is feeling , it is your heart , it is your body , it is your god , it is every thing. OR otherwise you can say True love has a number of definitions .
