When sharing your feelings, it's not necessary to accept responsibility for them because so often others cause them. TRUE OR FALSETRUE OR FALSE question?
false
:)~TRUE OR FALSE question?
False..
You must always accept responsibility for your feelings because as a creature of reason you can either accept or reject the validity of the feelings expressed by others.
Example, someone can attempt to make you feel guilty about something, but you have a choice to accept it or reject it.
False. Feeling are partly due to a combination of our interactions and interpretations of our encounters in the world. We can not completely hold another responsible for how we perceive the world. If we don't accept responsibility for our feelings, we risk giving up control over our own lives leading to eternal victimhood.
FALSE
You choose and you decide how you react to a certain situation. People can do something or say something which you think makes you feel a certain way but you have chosen to make yourself feel like that. If you really wanted to you could have gone away and said wow thats great, i feel fine. Instead of having a negative approach. So what they do and how they act is up to them but it is YOUR choice to decide how you want to take that and how you want to feel about it.
I would say you should accept responsibility for your feelings, for example, if someone says to you they dont like you, then you have the option to decide wether your going to let it bother you, (1) oh no they dont like me. (2) screw them, they're an a**hole. so you can control how YOU feel.
Doesn't make much sense but i'll say false. Because whatever arguments you make, they're still YOUR feelings and if you don't take responsibility, no one else will care how you feel.
I say true. The responsibility lies in your reactions rather than your feelings. To an extent nobody can fault you on what you feel.

True or false Question?
You need to only wire to one of the voice coils on a DVC. You dont have to wire to both of them and can get the same SQ,and life of the speakers. TRUE OR FALSE if false WHY???True or false Question?
False!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why.........
With only one coil hooked up, a dual voice coil speaker will suffer a loss in reference efficiency of about 3dB (only half the coil windings are being energized) as well as a significant shift in its Thiele/Small parameters
This renders any enclosure calculations inaccurate

Question for true pyschics/mediums/clairvoyants.鈥?I have read on answers that TRUE pyschics/mediums/clairvoyan
do not charge or should not charge for their help. Why is that? Is there some sort of unwritten rule? Sylvia Brown and other mediums/phsychics make alot of money - does that make them less of a medium or physchic? What is wrong with charging for their services since they are helping people?Question for true pyschics/mediums/clairvoyants.鈥?I have read on answers that TRUE pyschics/mediums/clairvoyan
Dearest Vero,
Many of the psychics make their living in their craft and therefore they must charge for their services or they would be homeless and starving.
Most psychics devote their lives to exercising their gift for the benefit of others. In doing so they must have some way of caring for themselves and their families.
Just because they charge doesn't mean they aren't real... it means they'd like to eat.
Always exercise a bit of caution when dealing with psychics. Take the recommendations of friends and family. If you don't have anyone else to refer from then ask psychics for references or clients you might speak to in order to get a feel for their genuine nature. Of course if you are buying psychic readings from ebay read the feedback.
Those who say psychics who charge money aren't real are just looking for something for nothing.

I think charging would be for their time, however a reasonable amount. Paying $500 for 30 mins of a service is just unreasonable.
I don't think it's wrong however to charge for the time. After all physiologist charge for their time. Allot of professions charge hourly.
To me it would be much like helping an old lady with her groceries and waiting around for the tip, but that is just me.
It is alright to charge a reasonable amount but when a lot of money is charged, then it makes help only available to the rich and that is not right. For example, charging $25 for a session is reasonable. Charging $1000, as Sylvia Browne does is not right. True psychics have to live but they don't need mansions and big cars.
Hi Vero,
many psychics do NOT charge for their services and are happy to help, and do so every week at spiritualist churches throughout the world.
They do this totally free and look at this free service as an opportunity to practice the gift they have been given.
Some people, even in the spiritualist network charge the individual churches they are asked to visit so that the fuel costs, etc. do not become a financial burden. Many people, like me, are 'healers', too. and we offer our gifts to others totally free of charge. It is a gift, after all, and I feel no need to attempt to prise money out of the people who need help.
However there are many people who do all these things and charge a fee for doing it. This letter is not to say that they are wrong, nor that they are greedy. It also doesn't, necessarily, mean they are better than the 'free' practitioners.
Some of these people have exceptional gifts and are very effective. Some, it has to be said, merely pay lip service to the 'craft' and will ALWAYS give an answer of some kind when reading. In my experience I lose my admiration of psychics when they start saying 'I give you a flower', or a colour, just so they can say SOMETHING while giving the reading.
While I am doing it I often 'feel' an answer very strongly and if I do I will reveal that to the person I am 'reading', but often I get NO reaction and say that too.
Some of the professional readers are more or less forced to ALWAYS reveal something, as they have taken money for providing the service and feel they need to pass something on. Some of the 'cheats', too, are very skilled at 'reading and interpreting thoughts revealed through clever questioning from their customers.
If you wish to experience the psychic power, as it refers to you, I suggest you find a spiritualist church, you will be welcomed, you'll meet like minded people, you may experience startling readings and it will all be free. (Some chuches do ask for a collection plate to be passed round to help cover their expenses, premises, etc.)
Hope you find what you are looking for.

Isn't this just like going to school for a specific career? Criminal psychologist and consultants get paid - why not psychics?!
she's probably fake, so it wouldnt matter to her... plus they need to make money some how
I don't think it is wrong to charge. They have to make a living. As long as the medium is upfront about what they charge and the client knows before hand and they still decide to go ahead with the reading then I see no problem with it.If a person is a popular psychic like Sylvia Browne or John Edwards then they don't have time to have a regular job and still help all the people they help. They have to have money to live on.It is nice when people do it for free but I think after a person gets a huge client base then they would probably have to quit a regular job and do readings for money. Some psychics are so popular it would be hard for them to have a regular job since they are so well know and people would be coming up to them all day with questions.
ACCORDING TO THE BASICS OF THESE GIFTS YOU ARE NOT TO CHARGE FOR THEM NOR USE THEM FOR YOURSELF AS IN GAMBLING,ETC. YOU MAY NOT HAVE ANY TROUBLE NOW BE IT IS KARMA AND IT WILL COME.
Sylvia is able to write books. The major portion of her money comes from her writing.
When it comes to psychics, people must be careful of who they go to.
There are scammers and frauds in the world that will do anything for easy money which they have no remorse conning out of gullible unfortunates already down on their luck.
You must be able to recognize the difference between a genuine psychic and a fake.
There are proven genuine established psychics and those are the ones that are becoming well known. They are the ones that have been tested and proven. They are the ones who will have alot of genuine references that will be easy enough for you to check out. And you should always check these out for yourself.
If you go to a person, who claims to be a psychic and they are insisting on you paying them hundreds and/or thousands of dollars up front. Buyer beware!
If you go to a psychic and they read you first and don't ask you for money and the reading sounds authentic to you and tells you things that only you would know. Then give them a tip for their time and their service!
I'm really glad someone posted a topic on this.
I wrestle with this problem all the time.
I've been studying astrology for 7 years, and all my friends tell me I should be charging.
It just feels wrong though.
I have to say, however, that it is actual work to read a chart, both on the scientific and psychic side.
When the psychic stuff starts happening it ends up draining me. I can only do so much ';reading'; before I get too exhausted.
Does that justify me charging? Does the intellectual property I have amassed in 7 years of study justify me charging? I just don't know.
I started out just studying my own chart, and before too long people had me looking at theirs. I ended up realizing that I could help people clear blockages in their psyche/spirit.
Helping someone in that way always feels ten times better than getting paid.

Tongue piercing question... Is everything that I have heard, true?
what have you heard?
is your tongue pierced?Tongue piercing question... Is everything that I have heard, true?
i've got mine pierced and so has the boyfriend, he sometimes wears a vibrating ball on his tongue bar....... ;)Tongue piercing question... Is everything that I have heard, true?
it costs 50+ (and should be only done by a professional not your backyard)
it doesn't hurt, the only time it hurts is when they pull out your tongue
you can't eat hot food for a month or you'll get an infection
don't play with your tongue ring with your teeth, it messes up your teeth
It's a great way to harbor bacteria and up your chances of getting a crazy STD. Crazy STD=Aids, fyi.
Go for it, sounds safe.
I think they look dirty. Like...only strippers and hillbillies have them. Which is the majority of the population where I live.
The quicker you can get the customer to finish, the more money you can make. So that little ball is like a work tool.
It's overrated.
DON'T!!!!!!! and YEAH!!!!!!
