Don't have to be a movie lover to look it up, LOL. (I do love movies, just not this one)
1939. Olivia de Haviland, Vivian Leigh, Leslie Howard, and Clark Gable played the lead roles. Hattie McDaniel won an Oscar for her performance as ';Mammy'; in this film, as well.

To be honest, while the film was a master piece, and a tremendous achievement by Hollywood, it is honestly the worst adaptation of a book to a movie I am aware of.
